Ways to use a blank fact family template
- Roll and write. Roll two dice, write the numbers at the bottom of a triangle, add them for the top and write the four facts.
- Number cards. Draw two cards from a deck, remove the face cards, and build the family.
- Challenge. Ask children to find three different families that make the same whole.
- Multiplication version. Switch Operations to multiplication and division and use tables up to 5 or 10.
